Result: Amended WAU Constitution and OGRs are approved by an overwhelming majority.

New IUAES Commission for Digital Anthropology

Result: Proposal for establishment of a Commission for Digital Anthropology is approved by an overwhelming majority.

SCGES - Standing Committee for Gender Equality in Science

Result: Proposal to affiliate with the Standing Committee for Gender Equality in Science is approved by an overwhelming majority of, as is paying 50% of the annual subscription (remaining 50% to be paid by WCAA).

Those listed above as having been elected will be joined on the new IUAES Executive Committee by the newly elected Head and Deputy Head of the Council of Commissions (elected by that Council). They are respectively Felipe Bruno Martins FERNANDES (Brazil) and Anita NUDELMAN (Israel). Junji KOIZUMI (Japan), as Immediate Past President, will assume an advisory role on the Executive Committee, with no vote.
The new Executive Committee will take office during the course of the World Anthropology Congress in Delhi to be held in October 2023.
